PCL, very friendly?

在加拿大如果不自己開車就一定要搭大眾運輸, 從維多利亞要回到溫哥華, 我們搭PCL( 就是巴士啦), 以下我和售票員的對話, 或許能讓人體會當地工作人員有多“友善”!

Me: Sir, we're getting to downtown Vancouver.
Clerk: How many persons?
Me: 2 adults and 2 children.
Clerk: It comes a total of xxxdolars and xxxcents.
Clerk: You're boarding now or next?
Me: Now.
Clerk: Then, the coach will be off in 2 mins.
Me: Can the driver drop us off at the Vancouver downtown hotel?
Clerk: No, the last stop is Depot.
Me: Depot? Where is it? What do you mean?
Clerk: .....
Me: Which coach will offer dropoffs at hotels?
Clerk: 11:45, next coach, stop at Gallery.
Me: Gallery???
Clerk: ....
Clerk: Your coach will leave in 2 mins!
Me: We'll take the next.
Clerk: ..., these your tickets, ... money back. at 11:30, wait at Bay1.
Me: xxx, ...., xxx

(後來我知道Depot是在downtown的邊邊的中央大車站, Gallery在downtown的Honeby st.上, 離我們住的飯店不算近, 但比起Depot, 那可是近多了, 拖著行李走到快翻臉時就到了!...而且還省了計程車費...)

看吧! 自己不做功課, 人家才懶的跟你這個路痴糾纏, 而且我們付的車資根本沒有hotel dropoffs, 那位“好心”的售票員沒告訴我們這個實情,不過我們並沒選錯班車, 後來還是被我問到一個善良的同車老伯很有耐心的告訴我怎麼坐這班車到downtown! 真是媽祖有保佑!
